We are seeking outstanding achievers to deliver the set objectives in our Technical Division. The successful applicants must be driven, results oriented with a “can do it” attitude and with proven track records.

The overall objective for the Systems Developer is to research, design, Implement and manage software systems that solve users’ needs.  

The applicant must have deep understanding of programming languages and the software development life-cycle, as well as excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities.

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy system enhancements in line with organizational needs.
  • Customize and maintain Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central 365 Integrate business systems and third-party solutions to streamline processes.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading of existing applications.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met through robust IT solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, data security, and best practices.

Academic Qualification, Professional Work Experience and Skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience in software development.
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central experience is mandatory.
  • Extensive and valuable knowledge of key departmental processes: Financial services, NGO’s, private or Parastatal organizations
  • Experience in user systems requirements management
  • Experience in Deployment/development to Sandbox and production cloud environments.
  • Experience in CAL and AL development with test automation and performance toolkit.
  • Experience in object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of SQL and Transact-SQL.
  • Understanding of version control concepts especially in Git.
  • Ability to break large development projects into smaller work items.
  • Design, develop and maintain integration functions into existing platforms within the Business
  • Quick self-learning
  • Flexible and adapts easily.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

Desired Competencies and Skills.

  • Familiarity with REST API development.
  • Professional certifications in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP implementations and project management.
